SPRINGFIELD – Illinois voters could see a rematch of the 2022 governor’s race next November. Darren Bailey, the former Republican state senator who lost to Pritzker three years ago is planning to run again next year. Cook County Republican Party Chairman Aaron Del Mar says he’ll be Bailey’s running mate. A formal campaign announcement is expected later this month.
