CHICAGO — Gov. JB Pritzker has signed Senate Bill 1602 into law earlier this month, updating the Sexual Assault Survivors Emergency Treatment Act and the Illinois Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program to expand training, improve enforcement, and increase access to medical forensic care.
