SPRINGFIELD — The Illinois Department of Agriculture will host its second grain tour of 2025 from Sept. 29 to Oct. 2, bringing buyers from China, Vietnam, Egypt, Jordan, Singapore and Mauritius to meet Illinois farmers, processors and grain handlers in hopes of growing export sales and new trade relationships. Tour stops will include Melvin Price Locks and Dam in Madison County, Perten Instruments in Sangamon County, RTS Farm in Sangamon County, Clarkson Grain in Piatt County, GSI in Christian County, the Illinois Soybean Association, Marquis Energy in Putnam County, DeLong Co. facilities in McHenry, DeKalb and Will counties, and the Chicago Board of Trade in Cook County.
