Illinois Flags To Fly at Half Staff for Fallen Tollway Worker

SPRINGFIELD — Gov. JB Pritzker has ordered U.S. and Illinois flags to be flown at half staff from sunrise to sunset today in honor and remembrance of a 52-year-old Illinois Tollway employee who was struck and killed by a vehicle. Calvin Holley of Chicago was killed May 30th while performing pothole repairs on Interstate 294 near Des Plaines. The flag order applies to all buildings occupied by state agency personnel covered under the Illinois Flag Display Act.
