SPRINGFIELD — The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency is offering $750,000 in funding through its Section 604(b) Water Quality Management Plan Program to support projects that assess and improve water quality. Grants will prioritize efforts that enhance waterbody assessments and help implement regional water quality plans. The program fully funds eligible projects with no matching funds required. Applications are due by October 8, 2025, and must be submitted through the state’s grant portal.
