CHICAGO — The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation has expanded its online licensing platform to include 24 additional professions, allowing more individuals to apply digitally instead of using paper forms. This brings the total number of professions available for initial license applications online to 70. The update is part of an ongoing rollout of the department’s Comprehensive Online Regulatory Environment (CORE), which will continue to add more license types in future phases through 2026.
