IDNR Hunting Permit Duck, Goose, and Bobcat Lotteries Open In September

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is reminding hunters about two permit lotteries opening in September. The statewide public duck and goose hunting area permit lottery is open now through Sept. 15. The statewide bobcat permit lottery is open now and runs through Sept. 30. Applications and additional information are available through the Hunt Illinois website. IDNR also encourages residents to visit state parks, historic sites and museums throughout the fall.
