DEKALB — The DeKalb County Highway Department announced that crews will replace a culvert pipe at the intersection of Perry Road and Howison Road on Wednesday, May 27, weather permitting. During the work, southbound traffic from Perry Road onto Howison Road will not be allowed. Perry Road will remain open to traffic. Residents on Howison Road will still be able to reach their homes by using Owens Road. Officials said the closure is expected to last one day and asked drivers to follow all posted signs, barricades, and directions from flaggers in the construction area.
