HINCKLEY — The Hinckley Fire Protection District will host its annual pancake breakfast Sunday, Oct. 5, from 7 a.m. to noon at the firehouse at 911 North Sycamore Street, with donations appreciated. The district, located in southern DeKalb County, protects about 2,600 residents across 64 square miles, including the Village of Hinckley, all of Squaw Grove Township, and most of the southern half of Pierce Township.
