Give DeKalb County Raises Record $2.8 Million

SYCAMORE — Give DeKalb County raised a record $2,881,483 this year for nonprofit organizations across DeKalb County. Organizers said 3,232 donors made 9,833 donations to support 158 nonprofits and endowment funds during the annual fundraising event. The Bonus Pool reached $215,000 to increase the impact of donations. Since starting in 2014, the event has raised more than $15.7 million. Organizers also hosted a livestream event in Sycamore on May 7 that featured local organizations, live music, and community discussions.
