SYCAMORE — Mail in and online giving for Give DeKalb County begins today as part of the annual community wide fundraising campaign supporting nonprofit organizations throughout the county. Online donations will be accepted May 7th through the campaign website, while mailed donations will be processed alongside event totals, with all gifts increased through a Bonus Pool funded by community partners.
Ben Bingle, director of the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership, said, “Givedekalbcounty.org. That’s where all the excitement is happening. You can see the leaderboard there. You can follow along with donations in real time, and you can make your gift online by visiting givedekalbcounty.org. There’s also a lot of social media activity going on, so we hope that you see this all over your feed all day long on May 7th.”
Organizers said the campaign gives donors multiple ways to participate while supporting dozens of local organizations.
