CHICAGO — Loved ones will be saying goodbye today to the Chicago police officer who was shot and killed last month at a North Side hospital. Officers gathered yesterday for the visitation of Officer John Bartholomew at St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago. His funeral takes place today at the same church, followed by a private burial service. Bartholomew and his partner were shot by a robbery suspect on April 25th at Swedish Hospital on Chicago’s North Side. Alphanso Talley has been charged in the incident.
