ASHTON — State Representative Brad Fritts will host a free Medicare 101 event on Monday, April 20 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Mills and Petrie Memorial Library at 704 North 1st Street in Ashton. The event is being held with the Northwestern Illinois Area Agency on Aging. Officials said the session will help Medicare recipients understand their coverage options and make informed decisions.
