ROCHELLE — Community Action Network hosts its Food Truck Festival today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. behind the museum in Rochelle to support its Christmas shopping program.
Michelle Pease, Board Member, Community Action Network, said that they have had to make some adjustments because of the economy.
“We increased our Christmas shopping gift cards from $85 to $100 this year, so the kids can get a little bit more,” Pease said. “We’ll do our annual shopping trip in December and just appreciate all the support that we get from the community and the local businesses. We’re pretty blessed to have this type of community that gives so much and cares about our kids.”
