DIXON – Families can celebrate Halloween in downtown Dixon on Oct. 24 during the annual Treat Street event. The day will begin with a Halloween parade at 9:30 a.m. at Haymarket Square, followed by trick or treating downtown and at OSF Circle Drive.
Jennifer Lang with Discover Dixon said the event gives families a chance to enjoy Halloween together.
“ We have approximately 20 different trunks, businesses and organizations who are gonna be set up for you to come and get those, goodies. So it’s a great time to get downtown Dixon, get those treats, and also view the storefronts and maybe do a little shopping,” Lang said.
