DIXON — A Dixon man was arrested Wednesday after police said he allegedly chased a family member with a knife before being disarmed by a bystander who suffered minor injuries. Officers responded about 10:18 a.m. to the 600 block of North Galena Avenue and later found the individuals at Huffy’s Marathon gas station. Police said 27-year-old Ian O. Dunbar was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic battery, aggravated battery, two counts of domestic battery, aggravated assault, unlawful use of weapons, and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence. He remains in the Lee County Jail.
