DIXON – Discover Dixon and sponsor Chris Hammitt State Farm are expanding the Shop Small Saturday promotion into a multi-week Holiday Shopping Passport program in Dixon to encourage local holiday spending. Shoppers who spend at least $10 at participating businesses through Dec. 15 will earn a signature on their passport, with entries eligible for Discover Dixon Dollars.
“We’re just excited to get these businesses participating and we’re giving out $750 in Discover Dixon dollars,” said Jennifer Lang of Discover Dixon. “So what better way to get out, shop local and while you’re getting a chance to win some cash?”
Passports are available at participating businesses, and customers may earn only one signature per location.
Completed passports can be turned in at the Discover Dixon office, 87 S. Hennepin Ave., by December 17th, with winners drawn on Dec. 18. Participating businesses include Basil Tree Ristorante, Books on First, Creative Freedom Ink Tattoos, The Crystal Cork, Dog Trot Pottery, Farley’s Appliances, Fresco on First, Fresh Finds Boutique, j Salon, Kaleel’s Clothing & Printing, PatiO’s Irish Pub, Premier Rental-Purchase, Rack City Thrift Shoppe, Refined Boutique, Revive Boutique, Shinny’s, Stone Bridge Running, Trein’s Jewelry, and Venier Jewelers.
