DeKalb Township Seeks Applicants to Fill Clerk Vacancy

DEKALB – DeKalb Township officials are seeking applicants to fill a vacancy for township clerk after the elected clerk announced plans to move out of state. The township board will review applications and appoint a qualified candidate to serve the remainder of the term, which is about three years. Applicants must be registered voters and must have lived in DeKalb Township for at least one year. Interested individuals are asked to submit a letter of interest by May 1, 2026.
