DEKALB – The City of DeKalb will conduct its annual outdoor siren maintenance Tuesday, Sept. 22. Residents may hear short, intermittent test tones from individual sirens throughout the day. The testing is part of routine maintenance and does not indicate an emergency. The city said Tuesday’s forecast is clear of severe weather. Regular testing helps ensure the emergency notification system remains reliable when needed.
