RTHS Agriculture And FFA Program Reports Strong Year

ROCHELLE – The Rochelle Township High School agriculture and FFA program had 213 students enrolled in seven agriculture classes during the 2025 to 2026 school year, including 19 students taking courses for dual credit. During an update Monday night from Donna Page, the program had 31 students with active supervised agricultural experiences, including Logan Crawford, who advanced to the state level in diversified crop production placement. The FFA had 51 active members and was ranked 47th among 385 chapters in Illinois. Two students earned their state FFA degrees, while students competed in 22 career and leadership events. The program is also starting a pilot program this year that will provide supervised agricultural experiences for all introductory agriculture, horticulture and agriculture mechanics students.
