DeKalb County to Hold Poverty Simulation

SYCAMORE – There will be an opportunity to experience what financial hardship is in rural Illinois with a poverty simulation being held next month at the DeKalb County Farm Bureau. The Illinois University of Illinois Extension will hold the event on Tuesday, April 22nd from 9 AM to 1 PM. There will be a light lunch provided. Volunteers are also being sought to help with the event. Those interested in finding out more or to volunteer, they should contact Judy Hodge, Extension Program Coordinator at 815-544-3710.
