SYCAMORE — The DeKalb County Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its fall 2025 Community Needs Grants and Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants, which support capital needs for nonprofits and music education programs in the greater Chicagoland area. Eligible nonprofit and public sector organizations are encouraged to apply by the September 1 deadline. The Community Needs Grants are funded by donor contributions and recently distributed more than $113,000 to local projects, while the Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants, which gave $268,500 last year, focus on music education with priority for DeKalb County.
