DeKalb County Board Approves Airstrip Permit Zoning Change And Watershed Plans

SYCAMORE — The DeKalb County Board on March 18 approved a special use permit for a private grass airstrip west of East County Line Road in Squaw Grove Township. The airstrip will be for private use only and will not be open to the public or commercial activity. The board also approved a zoning map amendment for a 16.32 acre property on Derby Line Road in Genoa Township to allow one residential lot with accessory structures instead of a subdivision. In addition, board members adopted watershed improvement plans for the Central South Branch Kishwaukee River and Lower Little Rock Creek.
