DEKALB – The City Council Monday night approved the purchase of 208 LED streetlight fixtures from Revere Electric Supply for $65,299.73, with the city’s share not to exceed $6,529.67 after rebates. The upgrades will bring the total number of LED streetlights to over 800. The council also approved buying water meters and radio transmitters from Badger Meter Inc. for up to $119,000 to keep up with new homes and ongoing lead service line replacements.
