OREGON — United Way of Ogle County will host its second annual Day of Caring on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 9 a.m. to noon, bringing together volunteers to help with projects such as painting, landscaping, and cleaning at locations throughout the county. United Way of Ogle County Executive Director Ashley Richter encourages residents, nonprofits, and community groups to participate.
“So we’re hoping that volunteers can sign up by this Friday, or if you’re a nonprofit or an organization that could use some help with any project, painting, landscaping, cleaning, we’d love to help you out,” Richter said.
