Woeppel shot a 3 over par 69 for his first 18 holes and came back with an even par 36 for his final 9 holes on Saturday for a 105 total in the Championship Flight.
1 shot back in second place is defending champion Ian Metzger who shot a 69 and 37 for the first 27 holes.
George Weber is in third place, 2 shot out of first place with a 107 total.
In the Championship “A” Flight, Nate Burdin is in first place following a 75-43 118 total. That was 7 shots better than Owen Carmichael.
Jim Peters leads the Seniors Championship Flight following a 4 over par 70. That was 1 shot better than Tony Turner and 3 shots ahead of Michael Guy.
Mickey Crystal, Brian Willis, and Ray Kannheiser are tied for first place in the Senior Championship “A” Flight with an 80.
The Championship Flight will play 27 holes on Sunday. The Senior Championship Flight will be 36 holes.
