DAVIS JUNCTION – At the Davis Junction Administrative Board Meeting Tuesday night, the trustees had a followup presentation from Mike Mudge of Rock River Energy Service regarding opting into a community solar program for the village’s water and wastewater facilities. The program, which would not affect the village’s existing energy aggregation deal, would provide a 15% credit on energy costs, saving the village about $5,200 annually. The village would subscribe to solar fields in other areas. The contract has a five-year opt-out clause. The trustees stated that they felt the deal was confusing with too many unknowns and decided not to move forward with the program.
