Cut The Square Event Happening Today In Rochelle

ROCHELLE — The Cut the Square event is taking place today from 4 to 7 p.m. in downtown Rochelle with music, classic cars, and a community gathering supported by the Flagg Township Museum. Director Jan Devore said, “It’s the high school thing to do, get in your car and cut the square and there’s 2 different opinions about where the squares actually were cut, but basically 6th, 7th Street up to 38 back down what is now Lincoln Highway and then Lincoln Avenue behind the museum.” The free event invites the public to view classic cars and visit the museum.
