Cubs Rally and Beat Arizona on 5 Home Runs

The Chicago Cubs scored 6 runs in the botton of the 8th inning Friday as they beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 13-11.

The Cubs hit 3 home runs in the inning. Carson Kelly went deep on a 3-run home run. It was his second home run in the game.

Kyle Tucker also had a 2-run home run and Seiya Suzuki a solo homer. Ian Happ also had a home run.

Arizona had taken the lead in the top of the 8th inning with 10 runs. They had 2 home runs in the inning.

Ryan Pressly got the win in relief for Chicago.

The Diamondbacks had won 5 games in a row prior to Friday.

Game 2 in the series is Saturday afternoon at Wrigley Field.
