It was the 5th straight loss for Chicago.
The Mets also had home runs from Francisco Lindor and Brandon Nimmo.
The Cubs had led 6-1 after 4 innings.
Nico Hoerner had 3 hits and scored 4 runs for Chicago.
Game 2 in the series is Wednesday night at Wrigley Field.
