Cubs Beat Padres In Game One

CHICAGO —  The Chicago Cubs are a win away from the NLDS following a 3-1 win in Game One of the National League Wild Card Series from Wrigley.  The Cubs trailed by a run entering the bottom of the fifth before Seiya Suzuki and Carson Kelly hit back-to-back homers.  Nico Hoerner added an insurance run with a sacrifice fly in the eighth.  Daniel Palencia earned the win in relief, while Brad Keller picked up the save.  Andrew Kittredge starts for the Northsiders in Game Two of the best-of-three set this afternoon.
