Controlled Burn Planned Near Skare Park Driving Range

ROCHELLE — The Flagg-Rochelle Park District and the Rochelle Fire Department announced a controlled burn will take place this week just west of the Skare Park driving range on Flagg Road. The exact date has not been set and will be announced once confirmed. Residents and motorists in the area may see increased smoke during the burn. Officials said the burn is planned and part of routine land management.
