CAMBRIDGE, Ill. — Cambridge Community Theater returns to College Square Park on Friday, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. with its 6th annual summer production, featuring the debut of A Greek (sort of) Tragedy, a new comedy by local playwright Tom Akers. The original play spoofs classic theater through a chaotic student production where props disappear, the director vanishes, and cast members fall ill, leaving the stage manager scrambling to keep the show going. The event is free and open to the public, with donations accepted to support future shows. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for the outdoor performance.
