Byron Street Improvements, New Squad Car Move Forward

BYRON — Street work in Byron is continuing with most curbs and sidewalks complete, paving scheduled to begin next week after grinding and milling are finished, City Engineer Jason Stoll said Wednesday. The street program is expected to be completed within two to three weeks. Meanwhile, Byron Police Chief Jeremy Boehle said the department’s new squad car will be outfitted with graphics and equipment and should be operational by the end of the year.
