BYRON – The Byron City Council last Wednesday approved the sale of a 2016 Dodge Charger police vehicle through a sealed bid after Police Chief Jeremy Boehle reported the car requires thousands of dollars in repairs and currently does not start. The vehicle, which has undergone several past repairs, will be sold as is. It was noted that if they get no bids, they may donate the vehicle to the fire department for training use.
