The Chicago Bulls have announced that they will have a jersey retirement ceremony for Derrick Rose on January 24th of next year.
Rose’s number 1 jersey will be added to the rafters following the game with Boston.
It will be the 5th jersey retired by the Bulls. The other jerseys include Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Jerry Sloan, and Bob Love.
Rose played 15 years in the NBA which included 8 seasons with the Bulls.
He was MVP in the NBA in 2011 and Rookie of the Year in 2009 while playing in Chicago.
