The Red Sox salvaged their series finale against the Cubs after earning a 6-1 win at Wrigley Field. Wilyer Abreu went two for three with a pair of home runs and three RBIs. Alex Bregman slugged a pinch-hit three-run blast in the top of the eighth.
Boston snapped its two-game skid.
Ryan Pressly was tagged with the loss after allowing two runs on one hit and a walk over his inning of relief. Chicago had its four-game winning streak come to an end, but still leads the NL Central.
The Cubs play at home Monday night against Kansas City.
