ROCHELLE – Today’s blood drive at the Rochelle VFW runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes free T-shirts for donors. The Rock River Valley Blood Center is hosting the event to help meet the weekly demand of 800 units needed for 14 area hospitals.
Maggie Anderson, Donor Recruiter with the Rock River Valley Blood Center, said that donations are crucial to saving lives.
Donors can walk in or make appointments at rrvbc.org. The drive is being held at 318 4th Ave., Rochelle.
