Frank Nazar scored the only goal in the shootout Monday night as the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Montreal Canadiens 4-3.
Nazar had a goal and an assist in the game for Chicago. Tyler bertuzzi and Lukas Reichel also had goals.
Arvid Soderblom had 18 saves for the Blackhawks.
Montreal lost their third straight game.
The Blackhawks continue their road trip on Tuesday at Ottawa.
