(Indianapolis, IN) — Bears General Manager Ryan Poles is confident that the team will keep some key players under contract. He mentioned at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis that there have been several calls coming in regarding interest in some of his players.
Poles was noncommittal of the future of linebacker Trumaine Edmunds and receiver DJ Moore.
But he plans on tight end Cole Kmet and running back D’ Andre Swift to remain on the Bears for next season.
Kmet is coming off a down year with just 30 catches for 347 yards and two touchdowns, while Swift rushed for a career high of one-thousand-87 yards and nine touchdowns.
