The Chicago Bears are freeing up some cap space.
The team restructured cornerback Jaylon Johnson’s contract. The move gives the Bears an extra eight-million dollars to use against the salary cap.
Johnson made his second Pro Bowl last year after intercepting two passes in 17 games.
