The Chicago Bears will be missing some defensive line depth for the first month of the season.
The team placed defensive end Austin Booker on injured reserve.
Booker hurt his knee during a preseason win over Buffalo earlier in the month. The 22-year-old made 21 tackles and tallied one-and-a-half sacks in 17 games with Chicago last year.
