Authorities Investigate Crashed Stolen Vehicle

ROCHELLE — Rochelle police responded Sunday morning to a reported auto theft on the 200 block of Southview Drive. The stolen black Hyundai Veloster was later found crashed by Illinois State Police around 4:35 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Route 88 and Illinois 251. Two suspects reportedly fled the scene on foot and have not been located. The theft is still under investigation.
