The United States Plays Australia In Second Group Play Of The 2026 FIFA World Cup On Friday

(Seattle, WA) — The United States will be back on the field Friday for its second match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The U.S. men’s national team is set to battle Australia in Group D play at Lumen Field in Seattle.
The U.S. is coming off a statement 4-1 victory over Paraguay last week and is now playing the Socceroos for the top spot in Group D.
The Americans’ star player Christian Pulisic is questionable for the match due to a calf injury.
It will be the fifth meeting all-time between the two nations. The USA will then close out Group Play with a match against Türkiye next Thursday at SoFi Stadium.
