MORRISON — Morrison Rockwood State Park will be closed to the public June 23 and 24 while staff apply an aquatic herbicide treatment to Carlton Lake. The work is intended to remove invasive vegetation and improve conditions for fishing, boating and kayaking. Park officials said the treatment will also improve fish habitat and provide better access for bank fishing. Public access to the park will be restricted during the closure, and camping will not be available during the treatment period.
