RMU Water Repairs to Trigger Boil Order on South Seventh Street

ROCHELLE — Rochelle Municipal Utilities will complete water system repairs Thursday along South Seventh Street and Illinois Route 251. Traffic is not expected to be affected, but crews will be working in the right of way and motorists are asked to use caution in the area. After the repairs are finished, a boil order will take effect for affected customers. Notices have already been provided to those expected to be impacted, and a second notice will be delivered when the boil order begins.
