OREGON  — Oregon City officials are reviewing a proposed ordinance that would set new rules for parking and storing recreational vehicles and trailers in residential areas. The move follows ongoing complaints about RVs being used as homes and sitting unused on lawns for long periods. The draft would limit the number of vehicles like RVs, boats, and trailers allowed on a property and require free permits for short-term stays by visiting family or friends. Officials said the city had looked at similar rules years ago, but they were never added to the code. The matter is expected to be brought forward for a vote at the next council meeting.
