Rochelle Council Approves Purchase of New Ambulance

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle City Council approved the purchase of a new all wheel drive Horton ambulance from Foster Coach Sales Inc. for $355,787 to replace a 2012 ambulance used by the fire department. The city received one bid for the project after notices were published in April and bids were opened May 8 at City Hall. City officials said the bid met all project requirements. Due to current production timelines, delivery of the ambulance is expected in fiscal year 2029.
