Rochelle Juvenile Charged After Stolen Vehicle Pursuit Ends Near Oregon 

ROCHELLE – A car reported stolen Monday from McConauhgy Ave in Rochelle was recovered Tuesday night after a pursuit that ended near Oregon. The Rochelle Police Department say they spotted the car around 10:30 p.m. and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The driver, one of three juveniles in the vehicle, proceeded to lead Rochelle Police, Ogle County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, and the Illinois State Police on a pursuit that was terminated near Route 64 and German Church Road near Oregon with the use of stop sticks. The driver is facing multiple charges, including Aggravated Fleeing and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. All three juveniles, all from Rochelle, were taken into custody then released to their parents.
