ROCHELLE – Rochelle Finance Director Chris Cardott will retire at the end of 2025 after 20 years of service. During her tenure, the city earned the GFOA Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for six straight years, the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for ten years, and a bond rating upgrade from ‘A+’ to ‘AA-‘ by Standard & Poor’s. Cardott will remain through the transition to help train the next Finance Director.
